Cookies policy

What are cookies?

Cookies are very small files which are saved on your device and which serve to store specific settings and data necessary for the exchange with our system through your browser.

Pursuant to Article 122 of Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003, the General Provision of the Guarantor of 8 May 2014, and the guidelines of the Guarantor of Privacy which became operative on 9 January 2022, we inform you that in the course of navigation within our Site, information may be collected through so-called "technical cookies". Technical cookies are used for the sole purpose of "carrying out the transmission of a communication on an electronic communication network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide such service" (cf. art.122, paragraph 1, of Legislative Decree 196/2003..

Cookies can be classified according to various criteria. In relation to the cookies permanence time, the latter can be divided into 2 types:

  • session-cookies: such cookies are deleted as soon as you close your browser;
  • persistent cookies: such cookies are saved on your device for a long period of time or permanently.

In relation to purpose there are two categories of cookies, technical cookies and profilation cookies.

Technical cookies

These cookies are necessary for the proper functioning of the website and are indispensable to enable you to navigate on it. Without technical cookies you may not be able to view pages correctly, or you may not be able to use certain services.

A technical cookie, for example, is essential to keep you logged in during your entire visit to a website, or to store language settings, display settings, etc.

Technical cookies can be further distinguished into: navigation cookies, analytics cookies and functionality cookies.

Browsing cookies ensure the smooth navigation and use of the website (for example, they allow you to make a purchase, or to authenticate to access restricted areas);

Analytics cookies are assimilated to technical cookies only when used directly by the website operator to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site;

Functionality cookies allow the user to navigate according to a set of selected criteria (e.g. language, products selected for purchase, etc.), in order to improve the service rendered to the user.

Profilation cookies

These cookies have the task of profiling the user. They are used in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user while browsing.

In relation to the subject installing the cookies on the user's terminal, the cookies may be first-party or third-party.

First-party cookies: these are cookies installed by the operator of the site you are visiting.

Third-party cookies: these are cookies installed on the user's terminal by a site other than the one the user is visiting; this installation is done through the site the user is visiti.

The cookie used serves to authenticate the user when accessing the website and lasts until the website is closed. As it is a temporary session cookie, once it is deleted no trace of it will remain.

What data is saved in the cookies?

No personal data is stored in cookies. Therefore, the cookies we use cannot be attributed to a person and therefore cannot be traced back to you in any way. When cookies are activated, an identification code is assigned. At no time will it be possible to trace your personal data back to this code and at no time will an attempt be made to do so. Name, IP address and similar data that could be traced back to you will never be used.

How can I avoid saving cookies?

You can set your browser to accept the saving of cookies only on request.

If you want to accept cookies, you can select the setting 'block third-party cookies' in your browser.

Normally in the menu of your web browser, in the support section, you can see how to reject new cookies and deactivate existing cookies.

In the case of shared computers set up to accept cookies and flash cookies, we recommend that you always log off completely after use.

How to revoke consent to the use of cookies?
